Project Goal

(i)

In the final decade of the previous century, as we conducted our activities and processes via the nonlinear network of the internet, humanity entered a period of profound interdependence and unpredictability—a chaotic, nonlinear era. This evolution has rendered the once-dominant linear model, born of our self-awareness process, increasingly incompatible with our current nonlinear landscape. Our reliance on the dominance of this linear model is becoming increasingly unsustainable. Yet, as this change unfolds, a compatible nonlinear view is emerging to guide us through this process.

The objective of this project is to facilitate a natural shift in humankind's linear perception, from seeing ourselves as being illusorily separate from our planet, to a nonlinear perception that acknowledges the human network as part of an interconnected and interdependent web of life. This nonlinear worldview, underpinned by theories such as network theory, systems theory, and cognitive theory, proposes that the universe operates as a self-organizing system with a universal pattern of organization, namely, the nonlinear network. Because nonlinear networks have universal behavioral patterns, understanding the essential behavior of the nonlinear network can guide us to align our action with this emerging nonlinear world.
