This work

is exploring the emerging nonlinear view of the world that indicates we are residing in a self-organizing living universe, bridging the previously separate conversations of philosophy, science, and spirituality.

This result of over 30 years of research and writing invites you to consider a unifying theory that is key to navigating this unpredictable and chaotic digital age, and is guiding us to unlock humanity’s true potential. (i)

Mission

In the final decade of the previous century, as we conducted our activities and processes via the nonlinear network of the internet, humanity entered a period of profound interdependence and unpredictability—a chaotic, nonlinear era. This evolution has rendered the once-dominant linear model, born of our self-awareness process, increasingly incompatible with our current nonlinear landscape. Our reliance on the dominance of this linear model is becoming increasingly unsustainable. Yet, as this change unfolds, a compatible nonlinear view is emerging to guide us.

The objective of this project is to facilitate a shift in humankind's linear perception, from seeing ourselves as being illusorily separate from our planet, to a nonlinear perception that acknowledges the human network as part of an interconnected and interdependent web of life. This nonlinear worldview, underpinned by theories such as network theory, systems theory, and cognitive theory, proposes that the universe operates as a self-organizing system with a universal pattern of organization, namely, the nonlinear network.

Because nonlinear networks have universal behavioral patterns, understanding one network can allow us to apply this knowledge metaphorically to any other nonlinear network. With this universality in mind, we first apply this understanding to the human body network and then subsequently apply this knowledge to other networks. In doing so, this work aims to broaden our perception, enabling us to identify pathways that allow us to reconnect with the natural pattern of self-organization and find scalable solutions to the challenges currently facing humanity. This perspective has the potential to bridge the gap between science and spirituality; to manifest the physical, mental, and spiritual potential within us; and to bring systemic solutions to personal, social, environmental, and global issues. Mansoor Vakili

Mansoor’s passion for how this universe works has led him to deeply explore quantum mechanics, systems theory, network theory, and various mystic traditions, from which a deep simplicity has emerged with the potential of uniting science, spirituality, and philosophy. And so his hope is that this work can guide humanity to update how we manage the power of our brains in order to achieve heightened individual physical, mental, and spiritual capacities.

Mansoor intends for the Nonlinear View to provide simple but creative solutions from the social to planetary levels, while we collectively navigating the chaos of the current nonlinear digital era.

“I see this as the knowledge of the Earth. It doesn’t belong to me; but it is precious to me because it has changed my life.”
